Fees are exclusive of any VAT and the implication of any withholding taxes which are added to the sums defined in this Agreement.
The parties agree to determine progressive payments in accordance with the following :
- the Work Stages […] shall be invoiced [X %] at commencement and the balance due upon completion
- the […] services will be invoiced per Work Stage in accordance with the breakdown for each Work Stage
- the construction stages and the services […] are to be paid monthly on the basis of equal instalments depending upon the projected duration of the Appointment in question

In the event that construction is suspended, the Consultant shall be paid for […] up to […].
Fee accounts shall be issued by individual consortium members and approved or commented by the representative before transmission to the Client.
Payments shall be made by the Client within a maximum period of […] days as from the date of origin of the fee account, by bank transfer, to the account [...]. Beyond this period, late interest shall be due at [X %] of the European Central Bank Interest Rate increased by a minimum of 3 points.
Payments are subject to the Franco-[...] tax treaty which implies [...].
The Client shall provide to the Consultant the corresponding tax statements.
