It is recalled that the characteristics of the site, and technical checks, require the appointment of specialist third parties, qualified and duly insured, whom are to be selected and paid by the Client within a timescale compatible with the project timetable. The Client ensures that their Scope of Services are compatible with that of the Consultant. Construction Contracts are awarded to experienced construction companies that shall be responsible for [...]. The liability of the Consultant shall not be incurred by reason of breaches or faults by third parties. A non exhaustive list of third parties is as follows : - Project Manager The Client decides to appoint an experienced Project Manager to advise him/her with respect to project approvals and to assist him/her with the administrative and technical duties which are not within the Scope of the Consultant. The appointment of the Project Manager shall not interfere with that confided to the Consultant. - Technical Controller At the commencement of the design phase, the Client undertakes that the Technical Controller shall provide the complete list of construction standards that apply to the project. The Technical Controller shall carry out his/her services as from the design phase up to final completion of the Works, within a time-scale compatible with the overall timetable and the obligations of other third parties. The Client undertakes to obtain from the Technical Controller the diffusion of his/her comments with in copy the Consultant, Contractors and to all other interested third parties. - Geotechnical Consultant The Client shall undertake all action necessary for the appointment of a specialist in soil mechanics. - Land Surveyor The Client shall undertake all measures in respect to the appointment of a Land Surveyor for the topographical layout of the site necessary for the Consultant and the sitting of the Works. The degree of subordination of the third parties is governed by the appended chart.
